The Black Keys' Patrick Carney On Justin Bieber's Grammys Snub

'He's Making A Lot Of Money'

The Black Keys had a big night at the 55th annual Grammy awards but drummer Patrick Carney was less than impressed.

In an interview with TMZ, when asked about his favorite part of the awards, Carney simply replied, "It being done, I guess."

Carney also spoke about Justin Bieber's Grammys snub, saying, "He's rich, right? Grammy's are for music, not for money. He's making a lot of money. He should be happy, I guess."

Despite his enormous commercial success, Bieber has yet to win a Grammy award and wasn't even nominated this year. "He deserved to be recognized and I don't really have any kind nice positive things to say about a decision I don't agree with," Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun said.

Bieber was noticeably absent from the awards show and used the evening to release a new track called "You Want Me."

The Black Keys ended Grammys night winning Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song for "Lonely Boy," as well as Best Rock Album for "El Camino." The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach also won Producer of the Year, Non-Classical.
