For her latest star vehicle, Melissa McCarthy worked with one of her favorite collaborators -- her husband, Ben Falcone. He directed and co-wrote "The Boss," in which McCarthy plays the powerful Michelle Darnell, a newly freed convict seeking to restore her public image after an insider-trading scandal.

The Huffington Post and its parent company, AOL, have an exclusive clip from the new comedy. In the scene, Michelle's "hangry" personal assistant (Kristen Bell) can't get her to shut up long enough to prep for a media appearance. Along the way, Michelle has jokes -- they're just not the right ones. See for yourself.

"The Boss" opens April 8.
