So was it just strategy that had Johnny Devananzio hooking up and seeming to fall for Camila Nakagawa on "The Challenge: Battle of the Exes" (Wed., 10 p.m. ET on MTV). The couple, who had previously had a fling -- thus getting them paired up for this season -- but unlike many of the other pairings, they actually seemed to be developing deeper feelings for one another.
Or at least, they started hooking up on the show. But now, the question is if Johnny hooked up with her just to better their chances of winning the game.
"it wasn't part of the strategy to win," Johnny insisted.
"However, he did try to make it seem like that," Camilla said. and that's what kind of pisses me off. You can't own up to your emotions, and to me that's just a coward move."
Johnny first insulted her, by saying she couldn't speak English, meaning she was probably hitting a little closer to home than he was comfortable with. Then he tried to explain how guys can have meaningless sex and women can't. He's just not sure if what happened in the game would have happened outside of it.
"The Challenge" has been renewed for another season by MTV.
