'The Crazy Ones' Loves Making 'Buffy' References

'The Crazy Ones' Loves 'Buffy' References

"The Crazy Ones" loves making meta "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" references. The new CBS comedy starring Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar is all about giving "Buffy" fans something to smile about.

In an outtake that aired during the credits for the "Bad Dad" episode, Williams' character Simon Roberts asks his daughter, Gellar's Sydney Roberts, how she learned a cool car move.

In the Thursday, Oct. 31 episode of "The Crazy Ones," Gellar's Sydney reconnects with a high school crush. The two marathon "Bones" together. Yes, the Fox series starring her former "Buffy" love interest David Boreanaz.

And of course, a little slayer reference from SMG's "Crazy Ones" co-stars.

Gellar recently joined Twitter and her second tweet was a "Buffy" appreciation post.

"Buffy" forever!

"The Crazy Ones" airs Thursdays, 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
