The Dark Knight Wishes '60s Robin Would Leave Him Alone (VIDEO)

WATCH: This Is Why Robin Sucks

Holy juxtaposition, Batman!

The character of Batman was created over 70 years ago, and the Caped Crusader has undergone plenty of style changes in that time. But perhaps no Batman eras are more starkly different than the campy, wacky Batman played by Adam West in the '60s, and the brooding, growl-y Christian Bale version in the Christopher Nolan trilogy, which wraps up this month with "The Dark Knight Rises."

But what if those two universes collided? In this new video from the sketch group Paulilu Mix Tape, the Nolan-inspired Batman battles the villain Bane, but can't seem to shake the neon-costumed, fresh faced Robin, pulled from Burt Ward's character from the '60s series.

No wonder Christian Bale said he would never appear in a Batman movie that Robin is also featured in.
