You travel alone in silence
No luggage you have in tow
Just a strong determination
Just the thought 'you need to go'
You have no planned direction
No destiny pure in sight
You just know that this darkness
Must find itself some light
The questions in your being
They always seem to linger
It's hard to give a meaning
Can't seem to place your finger
Just know that they are there

You see them as they are
The distance so much closer
Not guessing from afar
The sadness and the anger
The greed and all the hate
Like dishing up your thought pool
And trying to clean the slate
Your heart is pounding greatly
Concentration working hard
Don't want to miss a moment
So strictly on your guard
You leave your past your future
Your present all that counts
As slowly you continue
Your Wisdom starts to mount
And as you go about it
As doors and locks surrender
You see the hidden corridors
You see the wondrous splendor
The worlds you've never noticed
The sights you've never seen
The feelings thoughts and motions
So pure so sharp so clean
The mountains so majestic
The waterfalls flowing so
The wildlife suddenly beaming
The beauty of it all in tow
The sunrise oh so magical
The sunset just a dream
The rainbows with all their colors
Never-ending so they seem
You simply can't imagine
A world like this exists
It's always been so foggy
Been covered with life's great mist
But now the visions clearer
So much than ever before
Such happiness lies ahead of you
Such blissfulness rest assured
And now you finally realize
This trip so long overdue
If only you'd known sooner
If only there'd been a clue
For from this moment onwards
You never will be the same
Exploring is now your armor
