It's time to pop the champagne and celebrate the new shopping landscape that is on the horizon in 2016.

I am certainly excited for the high-end luxury on Madison Avenue that is headlining the news of the new.....

Sonia Rykiel - 816 Madison Ave
This store will showcase the French brand's ready-to-wear collections, fur, leather, shoes, and children's lines. There will also be specialty items designed specifically for the location by Sonia Rykiel creative director Julie de Libran.

The Italian brand's first standalone store in the United States for his high-end shoe retailer. Cult following currently available in: Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman, Intermix, Matchesfashion, Moda Operandi, Neiman Marcus, Net-A-Porter, Saks and Shopbop.

French luxury leather goods to open here in time for the next New York Fashion Week in February. It's the brand's first freestanding store in the US (it previously popped up at Dover Street Market), and will be right across the street from Apple.

Saks OFF 5TH - 135 East 57th Street
Saks Fifth Avenue's premium designer fashion outlet for discount designer handbags, shoes, dresses and clothes for men, women and children will have their first New York City location coming to Tower 57; 56,000-square-feet in three levels. It will open in March 2016 and another store is set to open Downtown at Brookfield Place in 2017.

Target to Tribeca is top-notch information! The second Manhattan location (other in East Harlem) will have "flexible store design," with smaller, commuter-friendly packaging, furniture sensitive in scale for City apartments, and on the run dining for our fast-paced living; sandwiches, salads, etc. The store will be a two-level, 45,000 square-foot location -a third of the size of a regular Target.
