The Female Brain

Since the publication of my new book, The Female Brain, I have often been asked whether I think women might make better leaders.

Indeed, at this time in history, the female brain may be particularly well suited to positions of leadership. Why do I say this? The skill set of the female brain, in contrast to the male brain, picks up on emotional nuance and pays attention to the details of social and emotional interactions better, according to current studies. This is not to say that males cannot do these tasks, just that the typical female does them faster and more automatically.

Therefore, in situations requiring delicate, skillful negotiations with two parties in conflict, the average female would have the advantage.
