The Getty Center will be closed to visitors, scholars and most staff Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 29 and 30, during the demolition of the Mulholland Drive Bridge, when the 405 Freeway will be closed, according to a press release sent out Monday. It's also known as Carmageddon II. The bridge is being demolished as part of the I-405 Freeway widening project.
