'The Glee Project' Finale: Blake Jenner Wins A Seven-Episode Guest Arc On Season 4 Of 'Glee' (VIDEO)

Who Won Season 2 Of 'The Glee Project'?

After eleven weeks of competition, Ryan Murphy stuck to his guns and named only one winner of "The Glee Project" (Tue., 10 p.m. ET on Oxygen). Last season Murphy declared two winners, and even gave smaller parts to the third and fourth place finishers. This year, there would be no "everybody wins" final moment.

Instead, there were tears and heartache for both Ali Stroker and Aylin Bayramoglu. Both Ali and Aylin came with ready-made and compelling back stories, but it was Blake Jenner's versatility and skills as an actor that made him the ultimate winner.

Until the final moment, it certainly looked like things were up in the air. All the eliminated contestants came back for the final video shoot and performances, including Charlie Lubeck, who'd developed feelings for Aylin. His impassioned plea on her behalf was emotional and perhaps kept her in the running.

But while Murphy declared there would only be one winner of the seven-episode arc on "Glee," he never said that he was therefore prohibited from using any of the other contenders should he choose to, did he? Perhaps Ali and Aylin can sneak in an episode or two as the runner-ups did from the first season. Then, it's up to them to pop on the screen and resonate enough with the viewers to earn more screen time.
