'The Glee Project' Season 2: Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch, Amber Riley To Mentor

More 'Glee' Faces To Mentor On 'The Glee Project'

"The Glee Project" Season 2 is getting visis from some very familiar "Glee" faces. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch and Amber Riley will appear as mentors on the Oxygen reality series.

Darren Criss, who served as a mentor during Season 1 of "The Glee Project," will also make a mentor appearance during Season 2.

Lea Michele kicked off "The Glee Project" Season 2 as mentor in the season premiere. Naya Rivera, Cory Monteith and "Glee Project" Season 1 co-winner Samuel Larson will also mentor during Season 2.

"Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy said the cast wanted to mentor this season. "The first season, they did not want to do it but then they all watched the show and they became fans of the show and for the most part they called me and said, 'I want to do it!'" he said.

"The Glee Project" features aspiring singers and actors competing for a role on Fox's "Glee." Last season, Murphy handed out "Glee" roles to four contestants, instead of just one. But Season 2 will just have one.

"They were adamant that there was one winner," Murphy said.
