The Gohan Society, which promotes Japanese gastronomy, held a benefit dinner the other night honoring Toshio Suzuki of Sushi Zen, one of the godfathers of sushi in New York. Ozersky TV cameras were running, chefs were cooking, and sake was flowing. All in all it was an amazing experience.
