'The Good Wife': Maura Tierney, Marc Warren Join Season 4 Cast

Maura Tierney Joins 'The Good Wife' & Kalinda's Hubby Revealed

"The Good Wife" is getting another dose of "ER" when Maura Tierney joins the cast for Season 4.

Tierney, who co-starred with "Good Wife" star Julianna Margulies on "ER," will play Maddie, a billionaire by way of an Internet company, according to TVLine. Look for Eli (Alan Cumming) to attempt to get Maddie on board Peter Florrick's (Chris Noth) gubernatorial campaign.

Meanwhile, Marc Warren, a British actor known for his TV work across the pond, will play Nick, Kalinda's estranged husband. You know, the guy she ran away from and changed her whole life to avoid. TVLine reports the two will reunite early in Season 4.

Look for Tierney to pop up in as many as 10 episodes in "The Good Wife" Season 4. On "ER," Tierney's character, Abby Lockhart, helped deliver Margulies' Carol Hathaway's babies.

"The Good Wife" has a long history of attracting big name recurring stars. Matthew Perry appeared in two episodes in Season 3 and has expressed hope in returning. Michael J. Fox, Carrie Preston, Martha Plimpton, Amy Sedaris and Parker Posey all also have recurring roles on the CBS legal drama.

Tierney could be joined by Alec Baldwin in Season 4 of "The Good Wife." During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Margulies said the "30 Rock" star expressed an interest in being on the show.

"Last night Alec Baldwin told me he wants to be on the show, so I quickly emailed [series creators and executive producers Robert and Michelle King]," Margulies said. "I get to sort of help out that way. My connection to helping the show is to say, 'What could you write for this character or that character.'"

"The Good Wife" returns to CBS this fall. Find out what other shows are returning by clicking through the slideshow below.
