According to Today’s Dietitian, being physically active on a regular basis can reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer, type 2 diabetes, and other diseases. The reason is because exercising effectively reduces weight, overall body fat, and intra-abdominal fat, which is a hidden risk factor for various chronic illnesses.
