What gets you out of bed everyday?
{Guimaraes} Knowing that I am fully fulfilling my purpose is important to me. I like knowing that everyday I am giving it my all and serving my highest self and that this purpose is positively impacting the world. I have created a life I designed and it feels so good to wake up every day knowing I get to choose how I want my day to go. Freedom over circumstances is the most powerful freedom we can choose!

What's your why?
{Guimaraes} I used to think my why was my clients. Or changing the world. Or being successful. But then I realized that if my why was dependent on other people, I would never be free. So in actually, my why is to save my soul. Because there is nothing more important to me than honoring the call of my spirit and saying yes to my desires. That is how I choose to grow and move through the struggles I was meant to move through on this planet. Fulfilling my purpose, being a speaker and a spiritual teacher, sharing my wisdom to the world is how my soul chooses to be on this planet. The results of whether or not it changes people is not in my control.

What is your go-to fashion item?
{Guimaraes} My go-to fashion item is a scarf. I think every outfit looks better with a scarf on. I just got a new one at an ashram and it still smells like incense from the ashram. It reminds me of the peace I found there.

What is your favorite thing about being a woman?
{Guimaraes} Breaking the rules!!! I love the idea that we're coming to a place where we no longer have to play by the masculine rules that have been laid out before us. We get to break the rules! Of course, I'm speaking of women in the Western world. We have incredible financial power and leadership skills that allows us to create whatever we want! This shift from masculine to feminine ways of being has put us in a very fortunate position. We don't have to do what's been done before just because it's gone before us.

What does creation mean for you as a woman?
{Guimaraes} We're all co-creators in our life. The universe is supporting us and creating with us. As a woman, I feel that it is incredibly important to surrendering my will (the how's) to the universe to support me. Women have an incredible tendency to over prepare and over plan. We wait until we are 100% perfect in order to move forward. The power lies in letting go of this, trusting that we're showing up the way we're supposed to and that the universe is doing its part to support us even if we view ourselves as imperfect.

What is your favorite thing about being an entrepreneur?
{Guimaraes} The flexibility! I truly get to call the shots in my life, waking up when I want, working from where I want, and stopping when I want. It's amazing that I get to go to yoga in the middle of the day and my boss let's me!

What is your least favorite thing about being an entrepreneur?
{Guimaraes} The uncertainty can definitely be challenging at times. It's a paradigm shift going from the perceived stability of a corporate job to the fluctuations and responsibility of entrepreneurship. Most of the time it's fun and it's the uncertainty that lends itself to creativity and foresight but sometimes it feel a little daunting. That's why it's so important to create a good support system of other entrepreneurs who can be there for you.
