Absolutely wonderful news for anyone who has stacks of pictures and photos that need to be framed, but hasn't found the time to get to it. (We know -- it feels like a lot of work!) Framebridge is working to make the process painless by doing it for you, offering free postage to and from for your artwork and prices that aren't anywhere near as insane as you'd guess. If you're just looking to get images from your iPhone onto the wall, you can also send in digital files.
How does it work? Pick the style of frame you want, mail your artwork in, and then sit back and wait for your custom creation to be sent back, free of charge, from Framebridge's production facility. The return shipment also includes hanging hardware, leaving you approximately zero reasons for not having a beautifully appointed living space.

It was the aforementioned fear of insane custom-framing prices that got the company rolling, after founder and CEO Susan Tynan experienced a particularly ouch-worthy moment of being bulldozed into spending $1,600 to frame some national park posters she bought on a road trip.
"I was too embarrassed to walk out! I completely ruled out custom framing after that and actively avoided art that needed to be framed. On a special trip to Morocco I passed up the opportunity to buy a beautiful set of prints because I wasn't up for a framing errand that would cost more than the trip itself," she remembered. "I started talking to other people and realized we all felt the same way. Why is it so expensive and anxiety-inducing to frame the things we love?"
Framebridge has also started offering a special gallery wall service, wherein you'll get expert advice on how to arrange your art and a step-by-step plan on how to hang it all (including exact measurements). The package is $99 and includes a credit to be used toward framing.
