'The Little Couple' Premiere: Bill And Jen Decide To Adopt

Jen and Bill are committed to starting a family, and they made a big decision toward that on the season premiere of "The Little Couple." They'd decided to adopt a son with special needs from China.

They headed to St. Louis to meet with the adoption agency where they got to see their son for the first time -- on video. It was an emotional moment for them as it was their first experience seeing the boy other than photos.

"You watch the video, and he’s no longer just a photo," Bill said. "He’s a boy. And that might not have been his first time walking, but it was my first time seeing him walk."

"The thing that’s going on in my mind is, oh my gosh! I just want to pick him up and hug him," Jen said.

The couple brought their son home about a month ago and named him William. They dropped by Katie Couric's daytime talk show last week to show him off. The couple said they're already looking into a second adoption, but for now they're enjoying getting to know Will.

Follow their journey as a family on "The Little Couple" every Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
