The Lonely Island's empire continues to stretch far and wide. Ever since Lorne Michaels took note of their unique online sketches and snatched up Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone to join "Saturday Night Live," their output has been inescapable: "Lazy Sunday," "Dick in a Box," "Like A Boss," and "I'm On A Boat" continue to be anthemic spot-on parodies/homages of boastful-yet-oblivious hip-hop. The group succeeds at sharp comedy in addition to well-produced music (they've collaborated with Justin Timberlake, T-Pain and Rihanna, among others).

Last year they released their first album, "Incredibad," which was mostly comprised of songs that originally debuted on "SNL." But yesterday, they announced via their website that they have plans to release a new album in 2011. No word the title of the album or any further details, but it's safe to say that we're looking forward to seeing what the trio does next.

Check out their Western-style promo that announces the album!
