Are you struggling to make a good living from your calling? As a Lightworker, your calling will most likely be some variant of at least one of these purposes: serving others; contributing something valuable to this world, or raising consciousness. So, the ‘why’ of your calling is very noble and clear, but where many Lightworkers get stuck is in finding the ‘how’ of their calling. If you are one of them, you might be finding that your actions are not bringing you the results you want. You might even be considering quitting and going back to a “regular” job to make ends meet.

I believe that Lightworkers should be handsomely rewarded for their services. But, unfortunately, too many Lightworkers are struggling to make money from the work they are meant to do. Let me share with you the biggest challenge most Lightworkers face that keeps them from easily experiencing business growth, and the effective action step to completely eliminate it once and for all.

#1 Massive Mistake - Wanting to Serve Everyone
Lightworkers tend to be so eager to serve that they want to help everyone. This is an honorable mindset, but it doesn’t attract client. On the contrary, it pushes them away! Why is that? It’s because people are not attracted to a “Jack of all trades, master of none.” Your potential clients are seeking somebody who has focused on a particular topic and mastered it. They are drawn to a person who has a lot of experience or knowledge that will help them to achieve specific results.

How can you stop making this mistake? The crucial step is to get to know your avatar! The word avatar originates from a Hindu term that refers to the material manifestation of a deity. In the Lightworker business, your avatar is your ideal client. Without knowing your avatar, you will spend a lot of time chasing clients who are not a good fit and are likely to have a very tough time reaching the potential clients who are most in need of your services. So, you might end up serving nobody. Get to know your avatar as well as you know your best friend. Once you gain clarity about your ideal client profile, you can create content, services, and products that genuinely help them. This will bring ease and grace into your business and your Light will shine brighter to those who need your services.

So, who is your avatar? Do you have any advice to share about how to get to know your avatar? I’d love to hear your insights!
