When we last saw The Mountain on “Game of Thrones,” Cersei brought him in to torture Septa Unella. No one really liked Unella on the show. She wasn’t nice. But this was pretty messed up.

Up until that point, The Mountain, who Cersei’s boy Qyburn had turned into a Frankenstein monster, had always kept his helmet on. In that scene, he finally removed it, but unfortunately he was in the shadows.

And now we know why ...

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, who plays the character, tweeted the behind-the-scenes picture on Friday. But our stomachs kind of wish he hadn’t.
