The New York Times is expanding its video production with some 30 series and has syndication relationships in place with AOL, YouTube, NDN and Yahoo. Now it is has a joint production project with a big partner in IAC's Vimeo, says Rebecca Howard, General Manager of Video at The New York Times, in this interview with Beet.TV

The first series with Vimeo is a food series produce by the Perennial Plate. It is on the them of the evolution of immigrant cooking in America, she explains.

Unrelated to the project with Vimeo, the Times announced a new food series with Mark Bittman.

We spoke with Howard after she presented at The New York Times NewFront event on Monday in Manhattan.
