'The Newsroom': HBO Releases Trailer From Aaron Sorkin's Series Starring Jeff Daniels (VIDEO)

WATCH: Jeff Daniels Loses It In 'The Newsroom'

Jeff Daniels is shaking up "The Newsroom" this summer. The trailer for the Aaaron Sorkin's HBO series has just been released, and Daniels stirs up some serious drama in this mere two-minute video of what promises to be an action-packed show.

"The Newsroom" (premiering June 24 on HBO) follows fiction cable news anchor Will McAvoy (Daniels) as he attempts to keep an even temper during his nightly program. But when asked for a "human moment" in the trailer, he says, "When you ask what makes us the great country in the world, I don't know what the f---- you're talking about!"

HBO has ordered 10 episodes of the hour-long series, which also stars Emily Mortimer as the show's executive producer, John Gallagher Jr., Allison Pill, Thomas Sadoski, Olivia Munn and Dev Patel; with Jane Fonda in a recurring guest spot.

Daniels has mostly been focused on film in recent years, with his credits including "Forcin' The Blues," "Howl," and "Paper Man."

"The Newsroom" premieres on Sun., June 24 on HBO.
