If there’s one thing I know, it’s about accessories. Outfits can be made infinitely times better when you throw on the right addition, but can also made a lot worse if you throw on the wrong one, so it can be rather tricky. Luckily, this season Edie Parker has taken care of all of that. The new fall collection aptly described as Belle Du Jour meets Monster Ballads, is perfect for the girl with timeless style that’s looking for a subtle edge. Displaying a array of flesh toned colors such as Rose Quartz Pearl, Natural Horn Marble and Grey Brown Pearl, some of the bags had the words ‘Kiss Me’ on them while some of them went the edgy wrote and had ‘Nailed’ written out in metal. Thanks to the materials and timeless the styles the bags don’t feel costume-y but rather like a sleek and sophisticated addition. With new shapes including a velvet cross-body, a pouch, and a small leather tote with acrylic patterns sit alongside brand staples like the Jean box clutch and the rectangular Lara, the choices are varied enough that everyone will be able to find something that suits their particular style and mood.

The chic presentation took place in the iconic Plaza Athénée where guests such as Designer Jason Wu, Wes Gordon and Paul Arnhold, Blogger Leandra Medine Cohen, Skyler Samuels, Model Olivia Culpo and seemingly every other well heeled New Yorker previewed the collection while sipping on champagne. Also worth noting is Edie Parkers line of incredibly affordable ($45) cell phone cases that are slim enough that your phone doesn’t turn into a brick but creative enough to give it some added flair. Also a lovely surprise was that the case itself will stick to glass, meaning you can now attach your phone to your computer screen or mirror, making FaceTime’s incredibly easier and a lot more fun.
