The Power of Persistence

Being persistent is the one thing which separates the winners from the losers. When an individual makes up his or her mind to accomplish a particular feat and set their focus in that direction, refusing to be deterred, he or she usually gets what they went after.

The power of perseverance, even in the face of adversity, is the true mark of champions. Indeed, those who achieve great things are those who do not know when to quit. From others, they hear taunting remarks and critics constantly remind them, over and over again, that what they are attempting to do, will not work. Yet they persevere.

Advice from well-meaning friends and alliances to take their losses like a man or woman, does not deter the true winner in life. Quitting is not in the vocabulary of successful people. Finding another way to reach goals is fine. Looking for alternate routes to the same destiny is alright. But to the daring and brave of heart, there is no such reality as quitting.

Being persistent is the one thing which separates the winners from the losers. When an individual makes up his or her mind to accomplish a particular feat and set their focus in that direction, refusing to be deterred, he or she usually gets what they went after.

This is because a principle is at work, a Biblical principle, which has always proven true. In every generation since the creation of man, there have been those few who have made the difference in their era, because of the application of this spiritual law. The principle is simple, and yet profound. It has made champions out of many, and continues to do so. Apply this principle and you will taste the sweetness of victory. Live by this principle and you will experience success over and over again. Teach this principle to others and you will prepare the next generation to succeed as well.

God, Who is the most successful Being in existence operates in this principle to perfection. Man, who is made in the image and likeness of Almighty God, has the ability to use this principle and to see it work consistently to his advantage.

This principle is in almost every success book ever written. Some of those who lived by this principle and saw its astounding results, determined to share what they learned with us, through their writings. Sadly, many people do not invest in their books to learn a success principle that is old, and yet new, for every time an individual activates the principle, the result in that person's life is new, sweet and powerful.

The principle is simply: know what you want, and make up your mind that by God's grace, you will have what you want, and pursue it relentlessly, until you get it.

Can it be that simple, some may ask? Is that really the key to success? The answer is a resounding YES. I dare you to read after those who have achieved a great measure of success, and see if they did not apply this principle. It will be proven true that if you are persistent in a good thing, which does not conflict with the law of God and man, and you refuse to quit, sooner or later, what you pursue will find you.
