'The Real' Host, Loni Love Opens Up On The Advantages Of Having Diverse Co-Hosts

WATCH: Why There Are No White Women On 'The Real'

Daytime television has received a makeover with the debut of Fox Networks’ new syndicated talk show, “The Real.” Hosted by Tamar Braxton, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley, the show (which is currently in the midst of its four-week test run) highlights the five personalities discussing an array of topics ranging from beauty, fashion and relationships.

Although the panel features a diverse group of women, Love recently revealed during an appearance on HuffPost Live why there are “no white women” on the show and how “The Real” has benefited from the dynamic group.

“We have spirited discussions and disagreements, because we come from different lifestyles. But that’s why I think America is like tagging on to us…we’re all ethnic women,” the comedienne admitted.

“A lot of people were wondering, ‘why isn't a white women on?’ Well, we felt like we had some women come on the table and we have guests. But it’s just a different type of feeling when it’s all ethnic women.”
