All the “Gilmore Girls” are back, and we can’t wait to see what Stars Hollow looks like nearly nine years after the finale.

But as most fans know, one notable character will not return for the show’s revival. Edward Herrmann ― the late actor who played the show’s beloved Richard Gilmore ― died in 2014. Though he will be missed, it’s comforting to know that the show will definitely pay homage to Herrmann.

In recently released photos from the “Gilmore Girls” set via Entertainment Weekly, we get a glimpse of Lorelei, Rory and Emily standing at Richard’s grave. *Sniffles.*

Fans were clearly emotional upon seeing the photo, as some tweeted “I’m gonna cry,” while another added, “So sad that Richard is gone, but he will never be forgotten. RIP Richard Gilmore.”

The other photo shared was more upbeat and basically just assured us that Luke is the same ol’ Luke:

According to the first page of the revival’s script, which was shared earlier this week, it looks like much of the show will be the same ― quick pace, snarky commentary and all.

“Gilmore Girls” returns Nov. 25 on Netflix.
