You probably know Wyclef Jean as a musician and artist from The Fugees (short for refugees) but now he's also collaborating with brands and lending his expertise to create superior audio products.

Much like an NBA player who works closely with a major shoe brand to design and develop something custom for the hardwood floors, Jean is hands-on with Creative, in pursuit of the pure sounds via Creative's iRoar, touted as the most intelligent speaker on the planet. For Jean, it's about helping you feel the music.

Jean knows how important it is to his fans to experience the music and underscores the importance of "never faking the funk." Wyclef stays connected and engaged with his fans on social media via FB, Twitter and Insta and recognizes that his people want to see and hear in most cases what's happening live...

A humble man from humble beginnings, he's on the buttons himself and shares real things that happen in the moment and behind the scenes without edits or apologies.

I'm paraphrasing but my favorite piece of advice from Jean to other entrepreneurs and creators is when he said,

"Most people will tell you, whatever you dream it can happen. But I say, you have to wake up from your dream. You've got to get out there and make it happen. When everyone is going to the right, you've got to go left and stand out. The innovators and those who have the courage to go against the grain are going to win."
