If you smell what The Rock is cooking on the set of “Furious 8,” you better run.
In a “furious” Instagram post, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson called out some of his male co-stars for not conducting themselves professionally. It sounds like things got heated.
The Rock first praised his female co-stars for always being “amazing” before he called out the “candy asses.”
“My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses,” wrote Johnson.
Wow. Someone’s dangerously close to getting the People’s Elbow.
He added, “When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling ― you’re right.”
The Rock posted his Instagram catharsis along with a video of him kicking someone’s candy ass to the track of Kid Rock’s “You Never Met a Motherf**ker Quite Like Me.” (Just in case you weren’t picking up the vibes he was laying down.)
Johnson didn’t identify the “chicken shits” to whom he was referring in the post, so it’s just speculation at this point. People say there are two sides to a story, though.
Perhaps The Rock’s male co-stars were just upset because his Pokémon persona was ruining Pokémon Go for them.
You’d be upset, too, if PokéRock replaced all your monsters with Weedles.
Whatever happened, Johnson ended the post saying that “the producer” in him was happy with how everything turned out. So at least the problem co-stars didn’t ruin things. If they had, their candy asses would be on the run.
