'The Simpsons' Creator Worked For Apple In 1989

Before 'The Simpsons' took off, series creator Matt Groening lent his signature artistic style to Apple's advertising department.

The Next Web discovered on Reddit what appears to be a Groening-created Apple ad campaign aimed at college students.

Dating back to about 1989, the series of drawing depicts various caricatures of college students and explains why each should buy a Mac personal computer. Each sketch looks distinctly Simpsons-esque and bears the signature "Matt Groening."
