The first teaser for Lifetime’s upcoming Michel’le biopic just dropped, and it’s super intense.

Plans for a Michel’le movie on the network were announced in May, in the wake of the box office success of the NWA biopic, “Straight Outta Compton.” Billboard posted Wednesday an exclusive first look at the Michel’le movie, which features the singer against a black background with a Parental Advisory sticker covering her mouth.

“Behind the men who changed hip-hop is the woman who knows the truth,” the 15-second clip teases.

Michel’le, who had a successful singing career in the ‘90s, famously dated rapper Dr. Dre for several years and married Death Row Records executive Suge Knight. Both relationships were extremely volatile, with the singer later alleging that she suffered severe physical and emotional abuse at the hands of Dre.

The biopic, titled “Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Me,” will reportedly chronicle her abusive relationships with both men, as well as her singing career. The TV movie is set to debut on Lifetime in October.
