There are many poems written about being uninvited. This is mine.

NOT THERE

They are all there.
The thems. Who are always there.
Are there again.

This time it's there.
Last time, somewhere like there.

I know because the papers say they're there
Their friends are there.
.
They may never know me there or anyone like me where they're there.

What do they do there?

Good question.
No answer.
Not from there.

Their secrets are there.
Should I care, them being there, me being here, not there?

It's still spring; flowers at their best.
I'm here. So, there.
