Here's Your First Look At Nina Dobrev's Return In 'The Vampire Diaries'

Ever since we learned that Nina Dobrev was returning to “The Vampire Diaries” for the series finale, we’ve been anxiously awaiting details about her character’s homecoming. With the finale just four episodes away, we’re finally getting a sneak peek at Dobrev’s role in the episode.

And guys, it looks like Dobrev’s character, Elena Gilbert, is finally awake.

On Monday, The CW released a brand new teaser for the forthcoming episode. It’s only ten short seconds, but it gives us our first look at Dobrev’s return.

“What happened? Why am I here right now?” Elena asks as she stares at a Mystic Falls High trophy case.

It’s not much to go on, but the teaser certainly implies that Elena has woken up from her long slumber. Fans couldn’t contain their excitement.

We’re glad to see Elena awake, but what does this mean for Bonnie? Will Stelena or Delena be endgame? Somehow, we have even more questions after seeing this teaser than we did before. Luckily, we won’t have long to wait until the big reveal.

The Vampire Diaries” series finale airs March 10 on The CW.
