Getting engaged on national television is one way to kick off your life together. On Monday night's episode of "The Voice," two contestants did just that.

Following their blind audition -- they performed their own rendition of "Seven Bridges Road" by The Eagles -- judge Blake Shelton asked Jubal Lee Young and Amanda Preslar if they were married.

"Not yet," responded Preslar. "One day."

Well, that one day came immediately. To her surprise, and the surprise of Shelton and fellow judge Gwen Stefani, Young said, "All right," then pulled out a ring and got down on his knee to propose to his girlfriend.

"Whoa!" yelped Shelton. "What is happening?!"

Stefani, who looked just as shocked as Preslar, exclaimed with a smile, "Are you serious?!"

"I've been waiting for this day for a long time," said Preslar.

Naturally, the audience and the couple's family backstage went wild, cheering and screaming for the musical duo. You can watch the heartfelt moment unfold in the video below.
