A new season of "The Walking Dead" means new zombies.
For Season 3, "The Walking Dead" is getting even more gruesome and co-executive producer and zombie mastermind Greg Nicotero is taking viewers behind the scenes. In this exclusive video, Nicotero walks through "The Walking Dead's" zombie studio. Old faces -- you may remember that walker who got stuck in the well in Season 2 -- are hanging about with the new decaying stars.
"What we did this year was we wanted there to be a sense that if a walker has been killed and has been laying in the sun for five months, six months, seven months, that it's sort of rotted and decayed," Nicotero says in the video below.
With all those open wounds, missing body parts and grabby hands, this studio is not somewhere we'd want to be when the lights go out.
