“A man does what he can; a woman does what a man cannot.” These are the words of famous novelist Isabel Allende, who in a single line defined the singular most important aspect of women existence. To do what a man cannot. To be what man cannot. To achieve what a man cannot. To set goals a man cannot and then score them in a way a man cannot. And I have sat down today with a mission to prove Isabel right with concrete proofs and undeniable logics. Don’t worry guys I am that feminazi type who will tell you about the all the things women have achieved. Or how it is impossible and pointless to imagine the world without women. Or how women are the backbone of the society, without their help men will perish. Rather I am going state my case in a more fun way while hitting men where it hurts the most. No, not under the belt, but in the heart. What I am going to do is take a handful of iconic and loved male characters and re-imagine them as females. And I promise you the results will stun you. The list of characters I have selected comprises of the most prolific and the most loved men throughout time and history. So guys ready for a roller coaster ride that will certainly change your way of thinking and leave your mindsets permanently altered and for good.

Jane Bond 007

It’s Bond – Jane Bond. This statement right is just enough to make my case. Just imagine all those adventurous stunts, all those cocky one-liners, all those self-driven dialogues, and all those flirtatious acts performed by a woman. Damn! Wouldn’t you pay a thousand bucks just to see a glimpse of it? Now I have to tell you why this version of the Bond will be way better than the previous one. For starters, women are known to be snobby and arrogant, and this is the quality of Bond that we like the most. So any women will naturally look better. Her relations with “M” particularly will improve, and it will be fun to see that for the first time M and JB getting along nicely. And my god I can’t forget about the weapons, can I? I can’t begin to imagine of the cool and lethal weapons her cosmetics can be turned into. But do watch out for lipstick taser.

Charlotte Holmes

The name is Charlotte Holmes, and the address is 221b. Just imagine the panache and élan of the moment when Charlotte Holmes will say these lines. I man not sure about you guys, but I will certainly go gaga over it. Yes, I agree Benedict is adorable, but just imagine the same snooty attitude, that suave British accent and ravishing personality in a women’s persona. A lot would change if that were ever to happen. For instance, instead of baker street babes, there will be baker boys. There will now be a possibility of Moriarty and Charlotte tieing the knot (that will be super cool). This Holmes will definitely know that earth revolves around the sun because a woman remembers everything and I mean everything. If this isn’t enough to convince you, just remember Sherlock is a girl’s name actually which means Sir Conan Doyle might have written this character imagining a young, diligent girl.

Dr. Stephaney Strange

Yeah, I know it is too early to comment on this character, but I am sure that if it had been a neurotic female neurosurgeon, it would have been twice as good as it is now. As stated earlier the snobby, mysterious attitude suits more women than man. Now just look at the facts we – women cast spells with our looks and mischievous smiles, we don’t need a book of visahanti. Our eyes can hypnotize anyone and sometimes make them go totally mad, so we also don’t the ogamotto eye either. If these qualities don’t make us better match to play sorcerer supreme then just for one moment, think of all the magic every woman has ever brought to your life. I am sure it will change your mind.

Miss America

This character does exist in comic books, but we really need to see her appear on television or better yet on big screen. Those of you who have read about Miss America in the comics know why I am saying this. Those who don’t, let me tell you some things about her and you will fall for her just as I have. It will indeed be baffling for you to know that Miss America is more powerful than Captain America. Believe me not? Now listen to all the powers she has. She has the ability of levitation and self-propelled flight, and that too at superhuman speeds. Miss America can also run at supersonic speeds and has strength equal to a thousand men. She is bulletproof and flame resistant. Loki once described as the indestructible woman. And that’s not it; she can also kick open Inter-dimensional portals allowing her to travel through different realities. Now who wouldn’t want to see Miss America instead of a man who just relies on vibranium shield?

Laura Kinney – Wolverine

This is the third character from the comic books which I am dying to see. This idea is to thrive faster than any other mentioned above as Hugh Jackman is retiring from the character we could we see a female wolverine replacing him. We have already seen her replace Logan in the comic books and it will be equally intriguing to see her in live action. If that is indeed the case then there will at least be one silver lining to the Jackman retirement. I would like to think that the little will we saw in the Logan trailer would grow up to Laura Kinney, I know it is a far fetch fantasy but who is to say it not possible?

Zorra

Do you know Zorro is one the earliest vigilantes of all time? He may not be a big deal now, but back in the day, he was more famous than Robinhood and Greek gods. Even the mighty Superman was somehow inspired by this infamous character. I am talking about the time when women were not allowed to vote let alone be a vigilante. But a lot has changed since then, and it is time that we finally see the female counterpart of Zorro aka Zorra. What Zorro does is to avenge the helpless and to aid the oppressed, and tell me what women have been doing for the past 50 years? Yes, the exact same thing. The foxy and cunning personality of Zorra will be a treat to our eyes and I just can’t wait to see it.

Thoretta

This is another character that is present in the comic-verse, but no trace of her has found her way to Hollywood. This is one particular character that I have longed to see in live action since the early days of my superhero fandom. And I was really disappointed not to see in her in the Civil War movie because she was present in the comics and played a vital role in it. She has all the powers of typical Asgardian gods such as superhuman strength and immunity to all earthly diseases. She also wields a gold hammer just as the Norse God of Thunder and she can do all the stuff Thor can do with his hammer. I would rather see this beauty taking the world by storm instead of Chris Hemsworth.
