There are days that I work too hard to make things 'just right' and then I remind myself that I can strive for perfection or I can be happy. When I want the house perfectly clean and the kids come racing through like small tornados it can send me into a tizzy. So I can either decide to let it go or to ruin my day, ultimately the choice is mine...

There are days that everything seems to be going smoothly and days where everything seems to fall apart.

There are days when I feel like an awesome wife and mom and days that I feel like I suck at both.

There are days that we have healthy meals and days that we have cereal and wine (ok no wine for the kids even though some days I swear they need sedation) for dinner.. There are days when I love my body and all that it can do and days that I pick it apart and feel weak..

There are days that I feel like I can take on the world and days that I want to stay in bed and hide under the covers..

There are days that I am in awe of technology and days that I want to throw my phone and social media out the window..

There are days that I feel organized and days that I feel like a complete shambles leaving duplicate files in my wake..

There are days where I think having my own business is awesome and days that I'd do anything to leave it all behind me at 5pm.

There are days that I feel like all I do is give and give and days that I feel super selfish..

There are days that I don't think I can keep going and then I do..

One thing is for sure, I am grateful for all my days!

With practice we get better at recognizing our emotions for what they are and can limit the time that we spend wallowing. Allowing ourselves to feel and to sit with our emotions is freeing. Tantrums are fully acceptable 😉 As Tony Robbins would say, changing our state ( moving the body outdoors! ...for me, bouncing in the trampoline with the kids) works wonders!

We are all human and all experience the ups and downs, it's all normal, and it's all good!
