There are people in my Facebook feed who still say she's corrupt, she put the country at risk, she's a liar, and even when she's exonerated over and over again, they're sure that she must have done something wrong.
Sorry, but I don't think you care about her emails, the private server or Benghazi. You'd even be hard pressed to say exactly what she's been accused of. Truth is, you can't quite put your finger on why you feel this way, you just know you despise her. Maybe that's because you've been told so many times to hate her that you think you're supposed to.
You don't agree with me, I know. I'm not going to convince you to change your mind about her. Deprogramming like that requires more than a few words by some Hollywood schmuck. But I will say this -- who cares? Seriously, who cares that you hate her? It's 1933 Germany out there and you have a responsibility to the human race. Andy Dufresne crawled through a river of shit to get out of Shawshank; you can vote to save the world from that asshole.
Personally, I'm not voting in the negative. I'm actually voting for her. I think she's fantastic. She's brilliant. She knows and understands the world, and what she doesn't know, she's curious about. She's tough as hell. Not fake tough, actual tough. She's the real thing and the fact that she has to compete against a complete and utter fraud is an insult, not just to her, but to us.
We deserve to be insulted. We just watched a human being endure an unprecedented barrage of boiling shit thrown at her, watched her branded a liar and a criminal, a bitch, a whore, a slut, and a cunt. And those awful words weren't whispered, they were emblazoned on T-shirts, shouted from the stage, sanctioned and repeated by her opponent, and shrugged off by the country she has served for 30 years.
Not only do we deserve the insult, we deserve everything else that's coming to us. Unless we vote for her. Loudly, proudly, defiantly. Even if you think your vote doesn't count in your state because it's already leaning this way or that -- stand up and be counted. You simply can't be a bystander to this.
