The holidays are a time for giving and being grateful for the things we have. Over the years, we've encountered many people who are making the world a better place. This holiday season, we want to shine a spotlight on these 3 dynamic duos who are dedicated to helping others! We're grateful for them!

1) Meredith and Pam Robertson - Meredith's Jars Of Joy

Words are powerful; and this message runs deep into the heart of mother-daughter run business, Meredith's Jars Of Joy.

After a fallout between her and a childhood best friend, Meredith was heart-broken. Her mom, Pam placed a big glass bowl of inspirational quotes on her daughters' desk, in hopes that she would read one each day. After much reluctance, Meredith eventually obliged and... it changed her life! "The words that I read were exactly what I needed to hear in that moment, on that day!" declares Meredith. They were inspired to start Meredith's Jars of Joy and the rest is history!

2) Judy and Ted Lucas - Friends of Fieldworkers

With the goal of helping more people become involved in immigrants's lives, making friendships, and supporting the field workers of Ventura County, California, husband and wife duo, Judy and Ted Lucas founded Friends of Fieldworkers in 2013 in response to the Oxnard Fire of October 4, 2013, where dozens of field workers and their families lost everything.

Judy's important piece of advice, "Treat people like you would have hoped your immigrant family was treated."

3) Caiden and Manny Perez - Blessing Bags

Caiden is a 7-year-old boy who lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. After observing homeless people on the street, he wanted to do something to help. His church came up with the idea of "Blessing Bags" -- Ziploc bags with water, toothbrushes, socks, and other daily necessities. Check out this heartwarming video about Caiden and his father Manny's Blessing Bags and the impact it has on the homeless community in their neighborhood of Winston-Salem.

You can support Caiden's project by donating on his GoFundMe page.
