Think People Care About Your Success? Think Again.

"I hit six figures this month", "I paid off all my credit card debt in three weeks", "My family and I are taking another vacation. Love my life."... and blah blah blah.

We get it. You created a life you love. And while that's great, it's time to focus on what really matters to your clients and customers: Them!

Truly irresistible offers focus on the benefits and results your clients and customers will experience. Your future clients don't always want to hear you [humbly] bragging about all the success you're having. Your audience wants to know how you're going to help THEM hit six figures! They want to know that it's all possible for them, too. If you're not doing this already, it's time to make some major shifts in the way you do business.

So what can you do? One of the best and most effective ways to connect with others is through story telling. We've seen a massive boost in engagement in social media with sites and apps that allow us to showcase who we are to our followers, right? Live streams, video clips, photo collages, captions and hundreds of other systems allow us to illustrate our life and present ourselves to the world in limitless ways. While this a compelling way to grasp your audience's attention, it's not going to be highly sustainable for keeping your people captivated by what you have to offer if you're solely focusing on yourself. Social sharing is a brilliant way to show your potential clients and customers what is available for them, too, but you must be sure to always offer a teachable moment or have an empowering message attached to your content if you genuinely want to make an impact. Talk about your wins, but spend more time talking about how you plan to bring those same results to life for your potential clients and customers.

Many people spend their lives wondering when success is going to happen for them. A combination of inspiration, positive thoughts, proper motivation and inspiration can lead others to truly believing in themselves and their ability to make their own success. If you've had major gains in your career, or if you have "made it" in your industry and you have the means to empower someone else to build their own dreams, why wouldn't you do so? Focus on your audience and give them what they need to succeed. Allow your own achievements and rewards to serve as an inspiration for others. The world needs more dreamers and doers. Start now.
