This ‘Good Guy’ Is Shaming Women Who Reject Him In The Creepiest Way

"Give the good guys a chance to help you be less afraid of the world."

Calling all dudes: This is not how to score with the ladies.

Twitter user Matt Pops Collins posted a photo of a flyer on March 10 that he found duct-taped to a wall that openly shamed women for not giving the "good guys a chance" and choosing "scum" men. The author of the letter is unknown, but the flyer was first spotted in January by Tumblr user Fenrufenrifenny.

"Fine -- fear the good guys," the flyer reads. "I guess we'll just have to suffer through watching you get broken over and over by the scum you think you love."

Read the full flyer below from Collins tweet.

(The Huffington Post reached out to both Collins and Tumblr user Fenrufenrifenny to find out the location of the flyers but did not hear back by the time of publication.)

The tweet has received over 12,000 retweets and 14,000 favorites since Monday morning.

Twitter users had some swift and witty responses for this so-called "nice guy." Read a few of the responses below that were tweeted in Collins' Twitter mentions.

While the reactions on Twitter were pretty much perfect, the best response came from Fenrufenrifenny, the Tumblr user who originally posted the flyer in January.

Fenrufenrifenny posted the original photo of the flyer. Later that day, on Jan. 29, 20-year-old Tumblr user named Megan responded to this "good guy's" note with her own letter that she taped next to the original flyer. She posted a photo on Tumblr of her note with the caption: "Updated because I couldn’t just let that sit there alone."

Megan wrote in her response letter: "You want to be a gentleman and a good guy? Start with changing the way you and other men see women. We aren’t fragile things you need to defend. We’re people. Keep holding doors open, keep being friendly, just don’t expect things in return. You aren’t owed anything in this world."

Below is the original photo Megan posted of the flyer and her response note she taped next to it.

Megan's full note reads:

Dear Sir,

If you’re watching some girl you like getting hurt by another guy STOP WHINING ABOUT IT AND DO SOMETHING. Don’t leave some anonymous note on a dorm wall. If you know someone is being hurt DO. SOME. THING.

If you want to play the “good guy” you need to rethink your intentions. If you’re only doing it for gratification, then you aren’t being the good guy. Did Batman give up on Gotham because people weren’t thanking him for saving the city?

You know what I really want? I want respect. I want people to respect that I’d rather not walk with a stranger in the middle of the night. I want people to respect that I can defend myself. I want people to respect that WOMEN CAN DO THINGS WITHOUT A GENTLEMAN TO HELP.

You want to be a gentlemen and a good guy? Start with changing the way you and other men see women. We aren’t fragile things you need to defend. We’re people. Keep holding doors open, keep being friendly, just don’t expect things in return; you aren’t owed anything by this world.

If you want us to be less afraid of the world, then change the world, don’t change us.

Well said, Megan.
