Katie Couric did it. So did Zac Efron, Vanesssa Hudgens, Kristen Bell and Dakota Fanning. They worked their magic on camera in front of millions lending their name to Stand Up To Cancer PSA's.

Now actress Marcia Strassman is stepping forward and is standing up. She's the one you saw as the mom in the "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" movie franchise, Gabe Kaplan's wife in "Welcome Back Kotter" and nurse Margie Cutler in the classic series "M*A*S*H." Now with stage four metastatic cancer she has a new role. She is an advocate of fighting cancer. And, like the organization, Stand Up To Cancer, Marcia is counting on scientific breakthroughs on the verge of being discovered in the prevention, detection and treatment of cancer.
