Tiger Woods Drunk? Golfer Reportedly Got 'Tipsy' While At Met Gala With Lindsey Vonn (PHOTOS)

Tipsy Tiger?

Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn made their red carpet debut as a couple earlier this week for the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Perhaps inspired by the theme (Punk: Chaos to Couture), Woods reportedly got "tipsy" enough to fall down.

According to a witness who spoke with US Weekly, "a seemingly tipsy Woods fell while walking up a small flight of stairs -- and didn't move from the spot until Vonn, clenching her teeth and looking embarrassed, helped him up."

Whether the expression was proof that he was drunk or just out of his element at the Met, the wide-eyed, deer-in-headlights look on Woods' face late in the evening that was captured by The Superficial has garnered plenty of attention.

Despite the rampant speculation about his level of intoxication on Monday night, Woods didn't mention being drunk or any trouble with Vonn when talked about the event from The Players Championship on Tuesday.

"It was certainly different," Woods said, via The Associated Press. "Lindsey wanted to try and grow her brand. She's come out with a new perfume and makeup line, so that was a big thing for her and I'm supporting it. As you know, I'm not really big into fashion stuff. The theme was pretty interesting, because obviously I remember some of that stuff when I was a kid. But I certainly didn't wear that stuff."

Asked if there were more gala events and red carpets in his future.

"We'll see," Woods responded. "Maybe I can just go in jeans and a T-shirt or something."

As you'll note, Woods made no mention of allegedly needing to be helped up by Vonn. For her part, Vonn tweeted that she had an "amazing night," even thanking her "amazing man."
