Tim And Eric On The Time They Worked With 'Manic Monster' Gary Busey

Tim And Eric Dish On Their Worst Celebrity Guest Appearance

Any fans of comedy duo Tim And Eric know they've had unique guest appearances on their shows over the years.

Bob Odenkirk and John C. Reilly are regulars, along with Zach Galifinakis. Michael Cera, Patton Oswalt, Jeff Goldblum and many others have made appearances, too, helping raise the duo's — full names Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim — profile. But one guest appearance early on in their career ranks as the worst.

Heidecker and Wareheim stopped by HuffPost Live on Wednesday to chat about their upcoming show, "Tim and Eric's Bedtime Stories," which premieres Sept. 18 on Adult Swim.

"Early, early, early on, we worked with a man named Gary Busey. There's a video tape out there that we've shown live half a dozen times, a hidden camera of that experience that will remain hidden and private until he passes away and then we'll put it online," Heidecker told host Ricky Camilleri. "It was a horrifying experience. He threw me out of the office, yelled at us, called us every name in the book. Just treated us really poorly."

"He ripped up our scripts," Wareheim, added. "It was four lines of voiceover. It was like 'Just go in and do those lines.' It turned into four hours of chaos."
