Tina Fey's Jokes Stolen: '30 Rock' Actress Laments Loss Of Computer On 'Late Show With David Letterman' (VIDEO)

Somebody Stole Tina Fey's Jokes

Things have been going pretty well for Tina Fey since the end of "30 Rock." Only seven months after the show's finale, she's already attached to two new comedies ... but she has some serious rewriting to do.

While on the "Late Show With David Letterman" Wednesday night
, Fey told Letterman that the second she and a few other writers moved into a new office in Manhattan, a guy went up and stole her computer full of jokes ... and she has the surveillance tape to prove it.

"New York's a big city and you're like, some guy stole my jokes!" Fey said with a laugh.

Fey is currently working on a pilot for NBC
that centers on a young woman who reconnects with her father and finds a new home on Fire Island. Fey executive produce the comedy with "30 Rock" partner Robert Carlock, and may appear in the series as well, according to Deadline.

And THR reports that
Fey is set to executive produce another comedy that takes place at an all-girls college that has just started accepting boys.

Could there have been a worse time for her jokes to be stolen? Time to get back to work, Tina!
