Ready to meet America's new royal couple?
No, not Jason Segel and Michelle Williams a.k.a. #bestcoupleever. Socialite Tinsley Mortimer, whom some might call New York royalty, is apparently spending time with Prince Lorenzo Borghese.
The Italian prince is the son of Prince Francesco Marco Luigi Costanzo Borghese and counts Napoleon's sister as a distant relative. But we obviously know him as "The Bachelor" from season nine of the reality show, the clean-cut brunette looking for "the one thing family, royalty and money can't buy" -- TV fame! Just kidding, we meant love.
Anyway, bucking "Bachelor" tradition (again, kidding!), the prince parted ways with his chosen woman after a brief romance. Now it seems he's found his perfect match in another photogenic, reality TV-loving quasi-royal: Tinsley.
New York Daily News reports that the two attended two recent society events together, including the high-profile Save Venice ball where a witness described them as "inseparable." (See the pics below -- they do look pretty cuddly.)
While that's not proof the two are dating, the pair would be a socialite match made in heaven. Beyond both being ridiculously good-looking, Tinsley has reality TV experience from her short-lived show "High Society," plus she is actively courting the press to hop back onto the public's radar. Quoth the New York Times just last week:
Ms. Mortimer, 35, has quietly enlisted agents, a manager and a publicist to advise her on her career, shore up her image and engineer her comeback. She has hosted shopping fund-raisers for the American Humane Association. And she is going out again, garnering mentions in party pages and popping up in bikini photos on gossip Web sites.
Add "dating a former TV star/Italian noble" to the list.
