Titus Andronicus, 'No Future Part Three: Escape From No Future': A Tribute To New Jersey (Video)

WATCH: Titus Andronicus Make Video Tribute To New Jersey

Titus Andronicus is tired of people trashing New Jersey. So the group put together a music video for "No Future Part Three: Escape From No Future" paying homage to their home state, directed by fellow Garden Stater Tom Scharpling.

Frontman Patrick Sickles opens the video with a message for all the haters:

"You people out there, you think you know New Jersey, you think cuz you’ve seen The Sopranos, The Real Housewives, you’ve seen Jersey Shore, you heard about the garbage dumps, you smelled the Meadowlands when you were driving down the Turnpike. You think you know New Jersey? You don't know anything about New Jersey..."

From there, the video follows the critically-acclaimed band from the Pine Barrens to Lakewood to Asbury Park to New Brunswick, and finally to Jersey City, where they play a rooftop show, finishing up with the chorus, "You'll always be a loser..but that's ok"--which seems like it could work well as a new state anthem.

Scharpling and TA are putting a lot of effort into promoting the video, which seems part of an earnest campaign to get Jersey to take some real pride in itself. Shcarpling, according to TA's website, has even laid down an ultimatum:

I have in my possession a live clip of Titus Andronicus performing an AMAZING version of "A More Perfect Union" shot in New Brunswick during our one-day tour of New Jersey as documented in the "No Future Part Three: Escape From No Future" video that we dropped a couple weeks ago. You can watch the "No Future" video by going HERE.

I will put the new clip online if we can get the "No Future" video to 100,000 views before Titus Andronicus play New York City on June 7th. But if we don't get to that goal, the only video I will release will be one of me DELETING THIS VIDEO FROM EXISTENCE.

So watch the video and send to all your Jersey friends! There's only one day left and the video only has 53,000 views!
