Behold The Toboggan, a four-level mega-experience composed of 11 slides on the edge of a cliff in Palermo, Italy. To ride it, you'll whiz through three levels of slides via small, crystal-clear swimming pools. Then, you'll end with a dunk in the shimmering Gulf of Castellammare. Ahh.
The Toboggan is one of many wet and wild attractions at Citta del Mare, which calls itself "the largest holiday resort in Sicily." This hideaway boasts 800 rooms in a lush nature park on the coast, with stunning views of the sea and surrounding cliffs. There are restaurants, a health club and, of course, an Italian pizzeria to explore, with the glory of Sicily just beyond your guest room door.
...but we'll probably just stay on the water slide, thanks.
