The co-hosts and crew of "Today" toasted executive producer Jim Bell on-air Monday as he prepares to depart the morning show.

In November, it was announced that Bell will leave "Today" to lead NBC's coverage of the Olympics. Alexandra Wallace, currently a senior vice president at NBC News, will take over as the lead executive in charge of "Today."

The co-hosts — along with Meredith Vieira — paid tribute to Bell, who has been executive producer for the past seven years, on Monday. “He will do a fantastic job at that," Matt Lauer said about Bell's new role. "And we want you to know that you have been a great producer, and also a great friend."
