There's a time and a place for store-bought whipped cream -- like when you're tilting back your head to spray a hefty amount of it directly into your mouth -- but the canned stuff doesn't hold a candle to the kind made from scratch. Homemade whipped cream feels like a special occasion, even though it's easy enough to make any day of the week.
There are some folks who are so used to whipped cream coming from a can they've never considered what the heavenly white stuff actually is. Don't feel bad, you're not alone. (By the way, it's just cream that's been whipped with sugar.) But the ignorance ends today and so too does the lack of real whipped cream in your life.
