'Toddlers & Tiaras': $40,000/Yr. On Pageants

With the investment they'd put into her four-year-old Paettyn had better do well. The tot was featured on the latest installment of "Toddlers & Tiaras" along with her mother. Paetynn started in pageants when she was just one-and-a-half, and her mother admitted to how much they'd invested in them.

"The cost of pageants is a little high," she admitted. "Since Paetynn started it’s probably pushing over $100,000." That's $100,000 in approximately two-and-a-half years, or roughly $40,000 per year.

This even though Paetynn's grandmother makes all of her granddaughter's clothes herself. Of course, she uses only the finest materials.

The end result was probably worth it for the family, too. Paetynn looked adorable and took home Beauty Supreme in the pageant.

Keep up with all the spending on "Toddlers & Tiaras," Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
